FAQs

What happens on a yoga retreat?

Each retreat is designed to give you space to slow down, reconnect, and recharge. A typical day includes yoga sessions (e.g. Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin), meditation, nourishing meals, and plenty of free time to relax, explore nature, or simply rest. Workshops or special sessions may also be included depending on the retreat.

Can I come alone?

Yes, absolutely. Many participants join on their own. Retreats are a welcoming and safe space where it’s easy to connect with others or take time just for yourself, depending on what you need.

What level of yoga experience do I need?

On most of our retreats, all levels are welcome. This enables friends of different physical abilities to practice together. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, modifications, variations and guidance are offered so you can practice at your own pace.

Some retreats are geared towards levels intermediate towards advanced to make the experience more physically challenging and bring you to step around your comfort zone. If you’re not sure which retreat is geared to you, just reach out.

What kind of yoga is taught?

The retreats usually include a mix of styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga, combined with breathwork and meditation. The exact program varies depending on the retreat location, season and topic.

Is the retreat suitable for beginners?

Yes. Beginners are very welcome. You’ll be guided step by step, and there’s no pressure to perform just to listen to your body.

What about food do you offer, vegan or vegetarian options?

Yes. All meals are typically vegetarian or vegan, prepared with fresh, nourishing ingredients. If you have specific dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know in advance.

What is included in the price?

Usually, the price includes accommodation, daily yoga sessions, and meals. Some retreats also include workshops or special activities. Travel costs are typically not included unless stated otherwise.

Where do the retreats take place?

Our retreats are hosted in carefully selected locations in Germany, often surrounded by nature to support relaxation and wellbeing. Exact locations are listed on each retreat page.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothing for yoga, warm layers, personal essentials, and anything that helps you feel at ease (e.g. journal, book). Yoga mats are often provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

In most cases, mats and basic equipment are available on-site. If you prefer your own mat, feel free to bring it.

What is the group size?

Group sizes are usually kept small to create a more personal and supportive atmosphere.

Can I get a private room?

Depending on the location, private rooms may be available. Please check the specific retreat details or contact us for options.
