Detox Massage Level 2
Belly and Colon Massage
Discover gentle, anatomically informed techniques for massaging the abdomen and following the natural pathway of the colon.
Because the belly can be a sensitive and vulnerable area, this workshop also introduces clear consent, respectful communication and the fundamentals of holding space.
Level 1 or comparable basic massage experience is recommended.
What You Will Learn
1. Colon Anatomy and Abdominal Fascia
Gain a practical introduction to:
The location and natural direction of the colon
Important landmarks of the abdominal area
The relationship between breathing and relaxation
Essential precautions and contraindications
2. Belly and Colon Massage Techniques
Learn how to:
Position the recipient comfortably
Prepare and drape the abdominal area respectfully
Begin with gentle contact and breathing
Follow the general pathway of the colon
Apply suitable pressure, rhythm and direction

Holding space means offering calm, respectful presence. It is not counselling, psychotherapy or emotional treatment.
